I graduated from the University of Melbourne School of Medicine and undertook my ophthalmology training at Sydney Eye Hospital. I was awarded a RANZCO / Alcon travelling scholarship and completed a two year Medical Retina and Uveitis Fellowship at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London.
I am involved in clinical trials for age-related macular degeneration and have published several articles in peer-reviewed medical journals and co-written two book chapters in the field of Medical Retina and Uveitis. I am a reviewer for several journals, including Clinical and Experimental Ophthalmology, Acta Ophthalmologica, Ocular Immunology and Inflammation, and European Journal of Ophthalmology.
Aside from my work at Visionary Eye Specialists, I am also a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Liverpool Hospital. I particularly enjoy teaching the ophthalmology registrars and am also an examiner for the Graduate Diploma of Ophthalmic Science, University of Sydney.
I have extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, retinal vascular disorders, inherited retinal diseases and intraocular inflammation (uveitis and scleritis).
